Maintenance Mechanic - Night shift

A longstanding premier food manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their growing team. This is an opportunity to work with a team that is developing groundbreaking products to support healthier living.

Pay

Hourly rate: $28.00 – $32.00

Schedule

• Shift options: Wednesday–Saturday or Sunday–Wednesday
• Hours: 6:00 PM–4:30 AM or 10:00 PM–8:30 AM (night shift)
• Four 10‑hour shifts per week

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair automated packaging equipment, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC‑controlled machinery
• Diagnose electrical, motor, and control system issues
• Read electrical schematics and perform welding/soldering as needed
• Support facility systems including steam, compressed air, and refrigeration
• Perform preventative maintenance and maintain a safe work environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance/mechanical experience
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment, electrical troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and welding
• Ability to pass a mechanical aptitude test (minimum 60%)
