Maintenance Mechanic 2 | Full Time | Concord Hospital | Sunday - Thursday

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders pertaining to Life Safety, Environment of Care, Safety and Patient Related.
• Completes Preventative Maintenance Work Orders.
• Creates and maintains proper documentation.
• Evaluate and Interprets data to perform preventive maintenance, trouble shoot malfunctions or perform repairs.
• Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certification, Registration & Licensure: Licensure required: Valid New Hampshire Driver's License required for day shift positions, preferred for evening and night positions.
• Experience: One year minimum related maintenance experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience (general mechanical skills, carpentry capability, basic plumbing and electrical knowledge).

• Physical and Work Requirements: The Dictionary of Occupational Titles Material Handling Classification is MEDIUM. The employee must regularly lift, carry or push/pull up to 10 pounds, frequently lift, carry or push/pull up to 10 - 25 pounds, and occasionally lift, carry or push/pull up to 20 - 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to hear and speak. The employee is frequently required to bend, climb, kneel, perform activities that require fine motor skills, reach, squat, and walk. The employee is occasionally required to do repetitive motion, drive, sit, smell, stand, and taste. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, depth perception, far vision, near vision, and peripheral vision. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and variable weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to airborne contaminants, airborne pathogens, bloodborne pathogens, bodily fluids, confined spaces, electrical hazards - shock, non-weather related heat or cold, slippery surfaces, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
