Maintenance Lead- Nights

About the role

This role ensures proper maintenance is carried out on all items in the facility and reports status to the maintenance manager. Ensures equipment is ready for production according to the daily production schedule.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills safety guidelines and procedures set for this role.
• Does not operate any equipment, machinery, or tool if not trained to operate.
• Follows the production/batch plan according to the daily plan.
• Reports equipment failure or malfunction to the maintenance team immediately.
• Drives the maintenance team to ensure quality work is carried out.
• Inspects equipment daily for issues and communicates with the maintenance team for repairs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Vocational school or technical certifications strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team.
• Demonstrated ability to delegate work and follow up.
• Experience installing and repairing water, gas, oil, steam, air, heating, and plumbing lines.
• Experience installing and repairing equipment such as compressors, pumps, and boilers.
• Experience welding installation and repair operations.
• Experience installing, transporting, dismantling, and repairing heavy machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Experience lubricating and performing preventive maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic repairs on industrial equipment.

Qualifications

Monday - Sunday, 5pm - 5:30am with Friday and Saturday off.
