Maintenance Lead (1148099)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Lead to oversee maintenance operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role is responsible for coordinating daily maintenance activities, supporting a team of maintenance technicians, and ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience with welding and fabrication, and the ability to lead by example while promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily maintenance activities to ensure equipment and facility uptime.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Coordinate and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Provide guidance, training, and technical support to maintenance team members.
• Promote and enforce workplace safety standards, policies, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage maintenance inventories, spare parts, and repair materials to support operational needs.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to identify and implement equipment reliability improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification, trade school training, or associate degree preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in a maintenance leadership or lead technician role within a manufacturing, industrial, or heavy equipment environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency in MIG and/or TIG welding, fabrication, and basic machining.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.

Pay

$90,000.00 USD Annually - $140,000.00 USD Annually
