Maintenance I

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair refrigeration systems, including kitchen, cold storage, and HVAC/R equipment
• Perform mechanical equipment preventive maintenance (PM)
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Support guest room repairs, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance items
• Provide leadership, guidance, and on-the-job training to engineering team members
• Respond to service calls across the property in a timely manner
• Auxiliary in large-scale repairs and engineering projects as needed
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to support operational needs

Qualifications

• Strong Commercial Refrigeration background (5 years minimum)
• EPA 608 Universal Certification A2L Certification
• Experience with HVAC/R systems and mechanical troubleshooting
• Working knowledge of: Kitchen equipment, Laundry equipment, Plumbing systems, Electrical systems
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and support team members
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Hospitality maintenance experience preferred
• Must possess good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Trades license or certification preferred but not required
