Job Summary
About the role
This position supports manufacturing, packaging, and distribution operations by installing, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of equipment and machinery.
Responsibilities
- Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems in a timely manner; reports other problems to Supervisor.
- Performs mechanical calibrations and alignments during preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Applies related knowledge to test and/or modify operational machinery and control equipment.
- Accurately completes daily maintenance reports.
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment and conserves resources by using equipment and supplies to accomplish job results without waste.
- Follows safety policies and procedures; reports unsafe conditions to Supervisor.
Requirements
- Typical education required: Associate Degree, Military, or Civilian Equivalent in Industrial Maintenance Technology.
- One to two years related experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Flexible to quickly shift priorities as needed.
- Able to work from verbal and written instructions.
Qualifications
- Standard work hours: Monday through Thursday, 200 PM to 1100 PM, and Friday, 1200 PM to 600 PM.
Skills
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance techniques and equipment.
- Ability to diagnose and repair various types of machinery and equipment.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Functional near, far and peripheral vision and functional hearing required.
