Job Summary

About the role

This position supports manufacturing, packaging, and distribution operations by installing, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems in a timely manner; reports other problems to Supervisor.
• Performs mechanical calibrations and alignments during preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Applies related knowledge to test and/or modify operational machinery and control equipment.
• Accurately completes daily maintenance reports.
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment and conserves resources by using equipment and supplies to accomplish job results without waste.
• Follows safety policies and procedures; reports unsafe conditions to Supervisor.

Requirements

• Typical education required: Associate Degree, Military, or Civilian Equivalent in Industrial Maintenance Technology.
• One to two years related experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Flexible to quickly shift priorities as needed.
• Able to work from verbal and written instructions.

Qualifications

• Standard work hours: Monday through Thursday, 200 PM to 1100 PM, and Friday, 1200 PM to 600 PM.

• Knowledge of industrial maintenance techniques and equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and repair various types of machinery and equipment.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Work Environment: Maintenance, self-paced, 8 hr shifts.
• Physical Demands: Medium - Very heavy, lifting up to 150 lbs.
• Functional near, far and peripheral vision and functional hearing required.
