Eaton’s Aerospace division is seeking a Maintenance & Facilities Coordinator to support the facility and maintenance teams at our Euclid, OH manufacturing location.

About the role

This position is responsible for ensuring compliance and quality standards are achieved to budget while driving continuous improvement in all aspects of facility management.

Responsibilities

  • Support the facilities team in establishing and documenting preventative maintenance and inspections programs.
  • Order maintenance parts and supplies.
  • Create and close maintenance work orders, create PM templates, and provide periodic reporting.
  • Assist with the development of preventative maintenance plans for new equipment.
  • Support MESH elements (EHS) as a lead.
  • Hire and supervise outside contractors when necessary; issue all Eaton-required permitting.
  • Support facilities in asbestos and lighting surveys.
  • Develop maintenance-related capital requests.
  • Recommend measures to improve maintenance methods, design and performance of equipment and processes; facilitate continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical-related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum three years’ experience in maintenance or facilities management.
  • 1+ years of experience within a manufacturing or industrial-related environment.
  • Must be a U.S. person within the meaning of ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).
  • No relocation benefit is offered; candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of the Euclid, OH facility (Active-Duty Military Service members exempt).
  • Eaton will not consider applicants requiring immigration sponsorship for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology.
  • Experience in the Aerospace or Automotive Industry.
  • Experience creating and closing maintenance work orders, creating PM templates, and providing periodic reporting.
  • Experience creating preventative maintenance plans for new manufacturing/industrial-related equipment.
  • Previous experience hiring and supervising outside contractors, including issuing Eaton-required permitting.

Skills

  • Demonstrated project leadership experience.
  • Ability to perform/lead basic troubleshooting and/or performance analysis.
  • Experience working on and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent technical writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Persuasive communication skills.

Pay

Expected annual salary range: $86,000 – $90,000. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

Schedule

On-site at the Euclid, OH facility, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
