What’s Your Purpose?

The ideal candidate will lead a maintenance team, ensuring the physical condition of the community is maintained while fostering resident satisfaction.

What You Will Do
  • Facilitate a high-performing team through frequent communication and coaching
  • Provide feedback and assist with work orders and projects
  • Review and analyze the property budget to manage expenses
  • Aim to embody and promote CWS core values
What Your Day Consists Of
  • Lead maintenance team members
  • Prepare make-ready apartments
  • Complete service requests
  • Maintain inventory and shop organization
  • Perform common area maintenance
  • Lead preventative maintenance program
  • Participate in resident satisfaction programs
  • Communicate with customers, residents, investors, vendors, leadership, and CWS team members
  • Lead and participate in CWS Risk Management and Safety Programs
What You Bring To Us
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Yardi software experience (preferred)
  • Microsoft Office and Outlook software experience
  • EPA, HVAC I & II, CPO, and local certifications
  • Minimum 2-4 years full-time work experience in apartment maintenance or a related trade
  • Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
  • Basic set of hand tools
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to read service requests, schedules, and converse in English
  • Supervisory/managerial skills
  • Able to travel within major metropolitan areas and attend company functions
  • Able to respond to emergency calls outside of normal business hours

  • Office and field environments within residential apartment communities
  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, maintenance shops, construction areas, mechanical equipment, noise, dust, chemicals, and other conditions associated with maintenance operations
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent walking of apartment communities, including climbing stairs and accessing maintenance, mechanical, and outdoor areas
  • Standing, bending, reaching, and occasional lifting of equipment or materials up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to inspect property conditions, operate office and maintenance-related equipment, and respond to emergency situations as needed
