Maintenance Technician at Loso Luxury Midrise Community

About the role

Bluecore Residential, founded in 2004, manages over 10,000 units with $2 billion in assets. We seek a Maintenance Technician who can achieve our standard for completing all service requests, including HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Complete all service requests, focusing on resident satisfaction and participating in the on-call rotation for emergency service requests.
• Troubleshoot and make necessary repairs for plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance.
• Communicate daily with the Maintenance Supervisor, accurately record service request statuses, and prepare ready units.
• Achieve Bluecore’s standard for making ready turns within 7 days, ensuring adequate inventory of parts and supplies, and using supplies cost-efficiently.
• Demonstrate urgency, professionalism, and thoroughness with every service request and make-ready turn.
• Ensure the community's appearance and residents' satisfaction by inspecting and repairing all areas, adhering to health and safety procedures, and implementing preventative maintenance.
• Work collaboratively with office staff to maintain overall resident satisfaction.
• Achieve proficiency in Yardi and Sparkle for inspections, embracing Bluecore’s culture of empowerment and transparency.
• Participate in weekly discussions on what is not working well (4WHAT) and engage in healthy debates with leadership (no fear of conflict).

Requirements

• Experience as a Maintenance Technician
• Experience working at an apartment community
• EPA Type II or Universal certification
• CPO certification (preferred)
• Reliable transportation
