About the role
Bluecore Residential, founded in 2004, manages over 10,000 units with $2 billion in assets. Known for technology and transparency, we empower our teams to make decisions that benefit our assets. We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and make necessary repairs to maintain apartments, including plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance repairs
- Communicate with the Maintenance Supervisor daily and accurately record the status of service requests and make ready units
- Achieve Bluecore’s standard for completing make-ready turns within 7 days
- Ensure inventory of adequate parts and supplies are in stock and organized; use supplies cost-efficiently without compromising quality
- Demonstrate urgency, professionalism, and thoroughness with every service request and make-ready turn
- Bring knowledge in all areas of maintenance while continually learning and growing your skills
- Inspect and repair all areas of the community; adhere to health and safety procedures and implement preventative maintenance
- Work as a team with the office staff to ensure overall resident satisfaction
- Learn how to accurately complete records in Yardi and commit to using Sparkle as an inspection tool
- Embrace Bluecore’s culture of empowerment and transparency by engaging in healthy debate with leadership (no fear of conflict) and sharing what is not working well (4WHAT) on a weekly basis
Requirements
- Experience as a Maintenance Technician
- Experience working at an apartment community
- EPA Type II or Universal certification
- CPO certification (preferred, not required)
