About the role

Bluecore Residential, established in 2004, manages over 10,000 units with $2 billion in assets. We prioritize technology and transparency, empowering our teams to make informed decisions that benefit our assets. We are seeking a Maintenance Technician who can make a significant impact.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and make necessary repairs to maintain apartments, including plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance
  • Communicate with the Maintenance Supervisor daily and accurately record the status of service requests and make ready units
  • Achieve Bluecore's standard for completing make-ready turns within 7 days
  • Ensure inventory of adequate parts and supplies are in stock and organized; use supplies cost-efficiently without compromising quality
  • Demonstrate urgency, professionalism, and thoroughness with every service request and make-ready turn
  • Inspect and repair all areas of the community; adhere to health and safety procedures and implement preventative maintenance
  • Work as a team with the office staff to ensure overall resident satisfaction
  • Learn how to accurately complete records in Yardi and commit to using Sparkle for inspections
  • Engage in healthy debate with leadership (no fear of conflict) and share what is not working well (4WHAT) weekly

Requirements

  • Experience as a Maintenance Technician
  • Experience working at an apartment community
  • EPA Type II or Universal certification
  • CPO certification (preferred)

  • General maintenance knowledge and willingness to learn more
  • Driven and eager to learn from the Maintenance Supervisor
