About the Role
Pratt & Whitney AutoAir is the Raytheon Technologies composite manufacturing center of excellence for aerospace Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Maintenance, Repair Operations (MRO) products. This position is a highly skilled Maintenance Technician supporting the production manufacturing line in Plant 5, which includes many highly automated operations such as a state-of-the-art coating line. Candidates should be willing to be trained on the maintenance of a wide range of robotics, conveyors, ovens, and spraying systems. Extensive up-front training and continued learning opportunities will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Complete corrective work orders for repairs needed on equipment and in the shop.
- Manage and prioritize work assignments.
- Collaborate with other skilled Maintenance Technicians to complete assigned tasks.
- Complete work activities safely, correctly, and on time.
- Communicate issues and needs to coworkers and management.
- Possess basic computer skills.
- Work any shift: First, Second, Third, and AWW.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a production manufacturing environment.
- Experience with equipment maintenance.
- Experience as an Aerospace Mechanic or completed A&P Certification.
- Experience with automotive body work, automotive painting, machining, metal fabrication, welding, composites, automation, electrical, mechanical troubleshooting, or any hands-on work in trades.
