About the role
Westminster Woods on Julington Creek is a five-star facility located on beautiful Julington Creek in Northwest St. Johns County. This Full-Time Maintenance position assists in the day-to-day maintenance of community property and village residencies, preserving residents' dignity, honoring residents' rights, providing good customer service, communicating appropriately, and adhering to federal and state compliance regulations.
Responsibilities
- Comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards and guidelines related to employment with Westminster Services and its communities
- Daily collection of debris throughout the entire campus/property
- Clean and remove leaves/debris from all gutters of buildings and residential units (when applicable)
- Clean gutters and downspouts on single family residences and town homes (must climb ladders to perform this duty)
- Pressure wash walkways and driveways throughout the entire campus/property
- Perform basic functions that are mechanical inclined with hand tools and operate power tools
- Change light bulbs, A/C filters, filters, and ceiling tiles
- Assist as required Maintenance Mechanic/Engineer with major projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in carpentry
- Plumbing experience preferred

- Balancing, kneeling, reaching, crouching, pulling, standing, manual dexterity, pushing, stooping, grasping
- Lifting up to 40lbs
