POSITION SUMMARY

Perform maintenance service or repairs to consistently maintain the hotel's buildings, grounds, and equipment to company's standards.

• Complete assigned tasks from General Manager before deadlines.
• Assure work meets company standards.
• Handle maintenance requests from all hotel departments.
• Assist in setting up meeting rooms as required.
• Maintain the cleanliness of hotel grounds.
• Empty all trash containers.
• Perform assigned landscaping tasks.
• Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three or more years of maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, painting, electrical repairs, landscaping tools, and landscaping equipment.

• The employee frequently is required to use hands or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
• The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this position include those required for reading.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• The employee is occasionally exposed to hazards including, but not limited to slipping, tripping, and falls; frequent exposure to dirt, humidity, heat, cold; frequent contact/immersion of hands in water, exposure to harsh and hazardous sanitation solutions, and frequent washing of hands.
