Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude
- Basic computer skills
- 2-4 years: print, direct mail, Inserting, and/or fulfillment industry
- 2 years: electronic and mechanical troubleshooting experience on automated manufacturing equipment
Responsibilities
- Ensures machines are running at peak efficiency through proper set-up, adjustment, preventative maintenance, and minor mechanical repairs
- Performs a variety of standard and prescribed duties to set-up, operate, and maintain mail inserter equipment
- Works from schedules, samples and instructions to set-up, run, and operate selective inserters
- Covers with warehouse that adequate material is available for assigned jobs
- Checks output for quality, and makes minor adjustments as required
- Verifies material for proper stock number/code against production order/sample
- Conducts preventative maintenance; cleaning, checking and inspecting equipment
- Trains operators on basic machine operations and the solving of minor operation issues
