About the role

L2 Support role on mainframe environment, based in Alpharetta, GA. The position focuses on the CA7 scheduler tool for end‑to‑end mainframe support, including scheduling LPARs, managing batch cycles, and executing batch runs. No development work is involved; responsibilities center on monitoring jobs, resolving issues, and rerunning jobs through CA7 in a PRE‑PROD environment to perform end‑to‑end (E2E) testing across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Monitor mainframe jobs using CA7
• Resolve job‑related issues
• Rerun jobs through CA7 as needed
• Schedule LPARs, manage batch cycles, and execute batch runs with CA7
• Run test cycles to perform end‑to‑end (E2E) testing across multiple projects in PRE‑PROD environment

Requirements

• Hands‑on experience with CA7 scheduler tool
• Strong CA7 operations knowledge
• Good experience with JCL, COBOL, VSAM, DB2
• Ability to work onsite 5 days per week in Alpharetta, GA
• Visa‑dependent candidates with relevant experience will be considered
