About the role
This position is for a Mainframe Production Support/Developer who must have extensive hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS, IMS DB, IMS DC, MQ Series, and Easytrieve. The ideal candidate will be familiar with production support, change management, and incident management tools.

- Solving 'production down' situations under SLA deadlines
- Leading to and including root cause and problem resolution follow-up
- Meeting facilitation and discussion moderation skills
- Identifying, escalating, and addressing project issues and risks
- Coordination with offshore/onshore teams and delegation of work
- Excellent Problem-Solving skills and an Entrepreneurial Attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Requirements
5+ Years of hands-on experience in COBOL development, with expertise in JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS, IMS DB, IMS DC, MQ Series, and Easytrieve. Must have experience in production support, change management, and incident management tools. Proactive problem-solving skills and an entrepreneurial attitude are essential.
