About The Role

What You’ll Do
- Supervise personnel assigned to mail services.
- Establish work schedules, assign tasks, cross-train staff to perform shipping/receiving duties as back-up, and evaluate and develop performance.
- Conduct personnel meetings about safety, procedures, and operations.
- Maintain records of mailing costs and implement cost savings programs.
- Maintain policy and procedural manuals for mailroom operations.
- Recommend changes and inform mailroom personnel of changes made.
- Monitor on-line production/copy requests, set up conference rooms, answer telephones, and take messages professionally.
- Resolve complex problems and identify appropriate approaches to existing solutions.
- May establish new techniques to ensure the team is able to meet its objectives.
- Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
- Guide team through the application of basic knowledge of practices and procedures.
- Work to build consensus.
What You’ll Need
- High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of job-related experience.
- Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
- In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basic knowledge of related job functions required.
- Ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent organizational skills with a master-level inquisitive mindset.
