About the role

As a CBRE Mail Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising all aspects of the mailroom operations for a building or campus. This job is part of the Office Operations function and involves providing office support to a client, business function, or individual contributor.

What You’ll Do

  • Supervise personnel assigned to mail services.
    • Establish work schedules, assign tasks, cross-train staff for shipping/receiving duties as backup, and evaluate and develop performance.
    • Conduct personnel meetings about safety, procedures, and operations.
    • Maintain records of mailing costs and implement cost-saving programs and procedures to increase efficiency.
    • Maintain policy and procedural manuals for mailroom operations.
    • Recommend changes and inform mailroom personnel of changes made.
    • Monitor online production/copy requests, set up conference rooms for client meetings, answer telephones, and take messages professionally.
    • Resolve complex problems and identify appropriate approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives.
    • May establish new techniques to ensure the team can meet its objectives.
    • Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
    • Guide team through the application of basic knowledge of practices and procedures.
    • Work to build consensus.

What You’ll Need

  • A High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of job-related experience.
  • Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basic knowledge of related job functions required.
  • The ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a master-level inquisitive mindset.

Compensation

The minimum salary for the Mail Services Supervisor position is $43,000 annually and the maximum salary is $75,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
