About the role

TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC, the nation’s leader in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, is now hiring a part-time Rural Mail Carrier in the Thompson Falls, MT area.

Responsibilities

- Sorting mail in delivery sequence for 389 active boxes. - Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into delivery vehicle. - Delivering mail along an assigned 77.7-mile line-of-travel. - Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items. - Other administrative duties as required.

Requirements

- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with a valid Montana driver's license. - Able to lift 70 lbs. - Able to work in all types of weather conditions. - Must reside in the area.

Qualifications

- Must provide your own vehicle meeting postal regulations and driving requirements. - Liability insurance of $100,000/$500,000/$100,000 or $600,000 (CSL). - Responsible for all vehicle maintenance, fuel, and insurance costs. - Vehicle reimbursement paid on top of hourly pay.

Pay

- $27.29/hour PLUS vehicle reimbursement. - Straight time, Health & Welfare, Holiday, and Vehicle Reimbursement paid out hourly. - Benefits paid as cash equivalency up to the maximum of 40 hours per week per the DoL Wage Determination under the Service Contract Act.

Schedule

- Day shift - Part time - Generally, one to two days per week and vacation coverage. - Hours: 9:20am – 5:25pm (End time may vary based on completion of route and delivery of all mail and parcels.)
