About the role

USPS CDS Rural Mail Carrier position available in the Watford City, ND area. Duties include sorting mail, loading vehicles, delivering mail, and other administrative tasks. Applicants must be at least 19 years old, have a valid North Dakota driver's license, be able to lift 70 lbs, work in various weather conditions, and reside in the area.

Responsibilities

• Sorting mail in delivery sequence for active boxes
• Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into delivery vehicle
• Delivering mail along an assigned mile line-of-travel
• Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items
• Performing other administrative duties as needed

Requirements

• Able to lift 70 lbs
• Able to work in all types of weather conditions
• Reside in the Watford City, ND area
• Valid North Dakota driver's license

Qualifications

• At least 19 years of age
• Minimum vehicle and insurance requirements met
• Must provide own vehicle meeting postal regulations and driving requirements
• Must pass a drug test and meet USPS criminal background standards

Skills

• Ability to lift 70 lbs
• Knowledge of USPS regulations and procedures
• Experience with mail delivery and administrative tasks

Benefits

• Vehicle reimbursement paid on top of hourly pay
• Immediate start date
• Part-time schedule, generally two days per week
• Two Saturdays per month required
• Hourly rate of $26.11 plus vehicle reimbursement

Pay

$26.11/hour PLUS vehicle reimbursement

Schedule

Day Shift - Part time, generally, two days per week. Requires at least two Saturdays per month. Hours: 8:00am – 2:00pm
