About the role

USPS CDS Rural Mail Carrier position available in the Madison, NH area. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a valid New Hampshire driver's license, be able to lift 70 lbs, work in all weather conditions, and reside in the area.

Responsibilities

• Sorting mail in delivery sequence for 414 active boxes
• Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into delivery vehicle
• D delivering mail along an assigned 67.3-mile line-of-travel
• Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items
• Performing other administrative duties as required

Requirements

• Able to lift 70 lbs
• Able to work in all types of weather conditions
• Reside in the area

Qualifications

• Valid New Hampshire driver's license
• At least 18 years of age
• Minimum vehicle and insurance requirements met

Skills

• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Ability to work in various weather conditions

Pay

$25.25/hour PLUS vehicle reimbursement

Schedule

Day Shift: 7:40am – 2:45pm. End time may vary based on route completion and delivery of all mail and parcels.
