Mail Carrier

Duties

• Sorting mail in delivery sequence for 103 active boxes
• Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into delivery vehicle
• Delivering mail along an assigned 139.5-mile line-of-travel
• Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items
• Other administrative duties are required.

Requirements

• At least 19 years of age with a valid North Dakota driver's license
• Able to lift 70 lbs.
• Able to work in all types of weather conditions
• Reside in the area

Employment Details

• HOURS: Day Shift - 8:15am – 2:10pm
• PAY: $25.17/hour PLUS vehicle reimbursement
• Vehicle and Insurance Requirements: Must provide own vehicle meeting postal regulations, $100,000/$500,000/$100,000 or $600,000 CSL of liability insurance, vehicle maintenance, fuel, and insurance costs are the responsibility of the applicant, vehicle reimbursement paid on top of hourly pay

Pay

Rate of Pay and cash equivalent benefits exceed the requirements set by the Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division.

Benefits

Health & Welfare, Holiday and Vehicle Reimbursement paid out hourly. (Benefits paid as cash equivalency up to the maximum of 40 hours per week per the DoL Wage Determination under the Service Contract Act.)
