About the role

TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC, the nation’s leader in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, is now hiring part-time Mail Carriers in the Athol, MA area.

Responsibilities

• Sorting mail in delivery sequence for active boxes
• Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into delivery vehicle
• Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items
• Delivering mail along an assigned mile line-of-travel
• Other administrative duties as required

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age with a valid Massachusetts driver's license
• Able to lift 70 lbs.
• Able to work in all types of weather conditions
• Reside in the area

Vehicle and Insurance Requirements

• One (1) dependable mini-van or equivalent vehicle providing 120 cubic feet of usable load space for mail and parcels
• $100,000/$500,000/$100,000 or $600,000 (CSL) of liability insurance for contract vehicle
• Vehicle reimbursement paid in addition to hourly pay

Pay and Benefits

• Hourly rate: $24.26
• Pay includes straight time, health & welfare, holiday, and vehicle reimbursement
• Benefits paid as cash equivalency up to the maximum of 40 hours per week per the DoL Wage Determination under the Service Contract Act

Schedule

• Day Shift
• Route one: 6:30am – 1:55pm
• Route two: 7:00am-11:35pm AND 4:25pm-5:05pm (split shift)
• Hours generally 1-2 days per week
