Machinist

Responsibilities

• Machinist/Fabricator tasks including operating conventional, CNC, and sheet metal machines.
• Secondary operations during the machine cycle such as deburring and straightening.
• Perform sheet metal/machine shop general laborer tasks including grinding, sanding, welding, straightening, washing parts, and assisting painters.
• Inspect parts using various measuring devices to ensure conformity to specifications.

Requirements

• Mechanically inclined
• Able to read and interpret operation sheets and blueprints, differentiate between thread sizes, and understand metric and standard threads
• Stock cutting saw experience
• Large Proceco wash station experience
• Burr bench work experience
• High School Diploma (no degree required)
