Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual and CNC lathes, mills, and turning centers.
- Perform complex machine setups and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality production.
- Machine a variety of precision components to close tolerances.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and cleaning of machines to maintain optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
- Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting production goals.
- Assist with training and mentoring less experienced machinists when needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of machining experience operating both manual and CNC equipment.
- Experience performing complex machine setups.
- Strong knowledge of machining principles, tooling, feeds, speeds, and materials.
- Ability to produce precision parts to tight tolerances.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Preferred Experience
- Experience manufacturing pumps, rotating equipment, or heavy industrial components.
- Experience mentoring or assisting junior machinists.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Schedule
- Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (1-hour lunch).
- Flexible start time of 6:30 AM, 7:00 AM, or 7:30 AM.
- Overtime frequently available.
