Machinist

Fives Landis Corp is actively seeking a Machinist to join its team in Concord Twp., Ohio. About the role

Build precision parts by operating CNC and manual machines to produce tooling, from raw material to finished products. Use a keen eye for quality: read blueprints, load materials, select tooling, and use precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet exact specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and manual machines to produce high-precision tooling.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure parts meet exact specifications.
• Load materials and select appropriate tooling for machining processes.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify part quality and adherence to standards.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years of machine shop experience and/or related training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous G-code experience preferred.
• Omniturn or Swiss lathe experience is a plus.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• All offers of employment are contingent upon clear results of a background check and drug screen.

Schedule

1st Shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with some overtime as required.

Pay

Starting at $28+ per hour, depending on experience.
