Responsibilities

  • Prepare, set up, and operate CNC machines for prototyping and production
  • Perform manual milling and lathe operations to support project goals
  • Understand and work with specifications, drawings, job orders (Oracle & File Maker), work instructions, recipes and procedures
  • Take precise measurements for cutting or shaping
  • Ensure quality through attentive quality checks and adjustments
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams
  • Maintain inventory of completed products, ensuring WIP build up in area is managed properly
  • Fabricate products to uphold excellent quality standards and support our customers' needs
  • Complete preventive maintenance on a regular, timely basis
  • Guide first-line troubleshooting such as equipment malfunctions, computer program issues, setting adjustments; involving appropriate other experts as needed
  • Support and uphold the Company’s safety and environmental standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Help ensure the proper disposal of waste materials
  • Contribute actively to safety improvement programs

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
  • 3+ years Industrial Machining experience, preferably on CNC lathes
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Capability to prioritize time efficiently
  • Strong multi-tasking skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good judgment, attention to detail, and manual dexterity are required
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • Good written skills, proficient computer skills, and ability to work with MS Office tools are required
  • Flexibility to work in shifts and handle occasional overtime as needed
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects
  • Continuous standing in one location for long periods (2-3 hours before break)
  • Working Conditions: Lift up to 50 pounds of materials, supplies, tools, fixtures and equipment from floor to elevated positions; Reach and manipulate controls on equipment; Perform work activities above ground level; Perform work activities with production chemicals, adhesives and epoxies, using required personal protective equipment; Operate forklift and other material moving equipment; Perform job duties at all times of the day within plant operation; Ability to follow vocal instructions and interactions, signals, alarms and work environment sounds

Pay

$24.75 per hour

Schedule

Shift work on a 12 hour Schedule, either dedicated day or nights
