Key Responsibilities

  • Possess and maintain an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines presented by the company
  • Maintain involvement on turnkey projects, demonstrations and other related customer projects to meet deadlines and budgets
  • Regularly travel to perform customer consultations to determine needs and solutions, and obtain detailed information for estimates and proposals
  • Prospect, develop and close new business with new and existing customers
  • Use your sales expertise to help our customers realize their business goals with product solutions you're proud to deliver

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in Engineering or Business or equivalent work experience
  • Previous outside sales experience with manufactured equipment is preferred
  • Strong professional communication and presentation skills
  • Innovative approach to problem-solving and the ability to thrive in a results-based environment
  • Effective closer
  • Mechanical/technical aptitude preferred
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office as well as experience in using CRM software

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated base pay for this position is typically between $54k - $78k. The actual base pay for the position may be influenced by factors such as education, training skills, qualifications, competencies, years of experience, job-related knowledge, and scope of the role, and could be outside of the posted pay range. In addition to base pay, Yamazen Inc. provides a competitive compensation package including salary with commissions and benefits.
