Machine Operator II
SUMMARY
Operate mailroom equipment from setup to shutdown to prepare and produce printed mail materials for worldwide distribution via USPS and other shipping methods, while fostering a teamwork environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Operate Videojet and Hawk Inkjet systems and polybag machines for addressing of printed materials
- Operate tabbing and folding machines, and strapping and pallet wrapping machines
- Load various feed stations, place/stack bundled mail on pallets, and operate electric and manual floor jacks to move pallets and cages of materials
- Direct and/or assist in staging of mailroom equipment before production runs
- Housekeeping duties
QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior machine operating experience preferred, but not required
- Comprehensive job training will be provided to the right candidate
- Mechanical skills and computer knowledge essential
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to effectively present information and direction to other mail staff

PAY
Expected compensation for this role is between $18 and $20/hour based on qualifications and experience.
