Machine Operator I

About the role

We are seeking highly motivated Machine Operators to join the growing team at our Owensboro, KY facility. Within this role, you will be responsible for safely operating our production machinery to run efficiently while maintaining our high standard of quality.

Responsibilities

• Aid in setting up, starting, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and properly shutting down process equipment.
• Assist with process machinery from raw materials through downstream finished goods.
• Maintain production logs and reports as required.
• Perform production process in SAP as required.

Requirements

• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic problems including knowledge of machines and tools, their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Math skills to include simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Demonstrate minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay

$21/hr plus $2/hr shift premium for overnight shifts.

Schedule

Shift Availability: 6p-6a/6a-6p rotation.
