Machine Operator I

Responsibilities

• Follows all plant safety procedures and uses PPE.
• Holds team members accountable for safety and quality practices.
• Reports machinery issues to maintenance.
• Cleans and resets work areas at the end of each shift.
• Accurately updates records and visual tracking.
• Cross-trains and works at various production positions.
• Operates assigned equipment and performs quality inspections.
• Lifts and moves materials as needed.
• Performs other duties as necessary to support operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience operating production equipment, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience operating hoists, cranes, and forklifts.

Qualifications

• Customer and detail-oriented.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to use common measuring tools and perform basic math.
• Willingness to learn new production operations.

Skills

• Operate assigned tasks and cross-train in similar jobs.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Inspect subassemblies and components.
• Use measuring tools and perform quality inspections.
• Work around machinery and in non-temperature-controlled environments.
