Machine Operator - Day Shift Only
Job Summary
RealTruck is seeking a Machine Operator with CNC/Press Brake experience for our Lafayette, IN facility. Primary responsibilities include set up and operating press brake, measuring and inspecting parts, and ensuring compliance with customer specifications.
Responsibilities
- Set up parameters of press brake through touch screen on the equipment to adjust tonnage, angle, speed, and number of bends on a work piece.
- Produce parts in the proper quantity as identified by the production schedule.
- Determine angle of bends by utilizing protractor, tape measure, and squares to ensure that parts conform to customer specification.
- Perform in-process inspections of parts throughout the manufacturing run and ensure they meet visual standards of acceptance.
- Follow and commit to meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum one year press brake or CNC machine operation experience; or recent certification from a manufacturing or technical program.
