Position Summary
The Machine Operator position is responsible for ensuring the continuing safe and efficient production process for the Morristown facility, including the set-up, validation and operation of automatic packaging equipment that produces wet wipes.
Essential Accountabilities
- Support the production and packaging of finished goods.
- Operate, troubleshoot, adjust, repair, and maintain production equipment to get maximum performance and efficiency.
- Ensure the safe and efficient production of a quality product in an FDA-regulated facility.
- Utilize JD Edwards, Factory Talk, Docushare, and DSI scan guns to safely produce quality products to customer specifications.
- Follow cGMP procedures.
- Daily responsibility for performing quality checks, sampling, and accurately completing required documentation.
- Set up and operate a variety of machines.
- Demonstrate commitment to Rockline/Iatric’s RRITE Values of Renew, Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, and Excellence.
- Effectively carry out safety responsibilities as part of essential accountabilities.
- Contribute to a cooperative working effort by demonstrating a willingness to perform other job-related work, as needed or requested.
Qualification Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
- Experience with computer usage within a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent attention to detail in daily work as well as extensive documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Motivation for continuous learning.
- Ability to openly embrace change.
Physical and Mental Requirements
- Ability to stand during 12.5-hour shifts with regular breaks.
- Occasional lifting up to 37 pounds.
- Frequent bending, twisting, and reaching.
Work Environment
- 100% of work will be performed indoors.
- Although the facility is climate-controlled, the temperature will fluctuate slightly with changes in the seasons.
- Hearing protection may be required in designated areas of the facility.
