About the role
We are seeking dependable, motivated team members to join our Bakery Operations team as Machine Operators. This role involves operating and monitoring specialized production equipment used throughout the baking process, ensuring our products meet the highest standards for quality, food safety, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor bakery production equipment used throughout the manufacturing process
- Set up equipment and verify production specifications before startup
- Maintain clean, organized, and audit-ready work areas
- Participate in product changeovers, sanitation, startup, and shutdown activities
- Communicate equipment concerns when needed
- Complete required quality, food safety, and production documentation
- Assist with cross-training and operating different bakery equipment as business needs require
Requirements
- Previous Manufacturing or Food Production Experience
- Prior experience operating production or processing equipment is a plus
- Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to follow work instructions, SOPs, and food safety procedures
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well on a team
- A high school diploma or GED preferred

Schedule
We are currently hiring for a 12-hour Day Shift at our Canal Street location. The exact start and end times will be determined. Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs.
