Machine Operator 1 Day Shift

About the role

Cornwall Building Brands is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Metal Fabricator. Located in Longmont, CO, this position operates in a fast-paced manufacturing environment producing metal roof and side panels.

Responsibilities

• Operate a roll former to produce metal roof and side panels
• Check and visually inspect produced panels to ensure a defect-free product
• Install panel dies during tooling changes and adjust to specifications
• Enter production quantities into the computer system
• Operate a forklift to position coils at un-coiler
• Operate overhead cranes to load coil stock
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Assist in other departments as needed

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing/production environment
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Ability to work independently and with others
• High school diploma or GED

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Ability to read, hear, talk, drive lift trucks, wear PPE, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• Stand or walk at least 7.5 hours per shift
• Tolerate extreme temperature changes
• Moderate to loud noise level
