About the role

We are seeking dependable, motivated team members to join our Bakery Operations team as Machine Operators. This role involves operating and monitoring specialized production equipment used throughout the baking process, ensuring our products meet the highest standards for quality, food safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor bakery production equipment used throughout the manufacturing process
• Set up equipment and verify production specifications before startup
• Maintain product quality, dough characteristics, temperatures, and production flow throughout the shift
• Make equipment adjustments to maintain product quality and maximize efficiency
• Perform routine troubleshooting to minimize downtime and communicate equipment concerns when needed
• Complete required quality, food safety, and production documentation
• Absorb and operate different bakery equipment as business needs require

Requirements

• Previous Manufacturing or Food Production Experience
• Prior experience operating production or processing equipment is a plus
• Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to follow work instructions, SOPs, and food safety procedures
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well on a team
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Schedule

We are currently hiring for a 12-hour Night Shift at our Canal Street location. The schedule will consist of a consistent 12-hour night shift, with the exact start and end times to be determined. Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs.
