The CHEP Low Volume Recovery (LVR) Representative executes multiple less-than-truckload deliveries and collections daily, optimizing routes and volumes through customer and internal partnerships. This role drives key growth components of the CHEP LVR Program, collaborating across functions to implement project plans and train teammates on new processes.

About the role

You’ll operate a CHEP-owned box truck in full compliance with DOT regulations and CHEP safety standards, delivering and collecting pallets and other assets at designated locations. Based in Kent, Washington, you’ll document site conditions, report recovery challenges, and work with local customers to improve program compliance and increase collection volumes. The role involves visiting potential collection locations to expand the program’s customer base and serving as a resource and trainer for other LVR Representatives.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a CHEP-owned box truck (or similar equipment) in compliance with all DOT regulations and CHEP safety requirements.
  • Execute efficient delivery and collection of empty pallets and other assets at locations provided by CHEP.
  • Work with local customers on program compliance to drive efficiencies and increase collection volumes.
  • Document all delivery and collection data (times, mileages, volumes, customer comments) and communicate updates to LVR support personnel.
  • Visit potential collection locations to explain the CHEP LVR Program, gather data, and add new locations to the customer base.
  • Develop, communicate, and implement improved processes focusing on key performance areas within LVR operations.
  • Partner with internal resources to build and execute project plans.
  • Serve as a resource and trainer for LVR Representatives on key performance areas.

Requirements

  • Willing to lift 65 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card with no restrictions.
  • Able to execute and optimize provided delivery/collection routes.
  • Strong communication and on-the-fly problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and developing relationships with new customers.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to lead peers.

Qualifications

  • Experience with multi-stop driving and DOT/safety compliance ownership.
  • Experience in route optimization/management and local customer relationship building.
  • Front-line operations leadership experience.
  • New customer development experience (desired).
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations and basic Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with routing management apps/software (desired).
  • Proficiency in English; Spanish is desirable.
