About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide essential healthcare services within correctional facilities across west Texas.

Responsibilities

• Administering prescribed medications
• Monitoring vital signs and reporting abnormalities
• Providing wound care and basic treatments
• Supporting daily living activities (mobility and hygiene)
• Conducting health screenings
• Responding to medical emergencies with first aid or CPR
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure accurate documentation and infection control
• Maintaining accurate medical records

Requirements

• Active Texas LVN license in good standing
• BLS certification
• Ability to pass a background check
• Corrections experience is a plus
