Primary location: 2550 Bending Branch Way, Allen, Texas, 75013. This position is designated for in-person work at a campus or other location of Collin College; remote or telecommuting arrangements are not permitted except under specific statutory exceptions.

Prepare and deliver coursework in engaging, innovative, and discipline-appropriate ways that reflect the college's core values, an understanding of culturally responsive teaching, and knowledge of the teaching field. Meet professional standards for faculty in accordance with college policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses in accordance with the schedule of classes and follow the approved course descriptions and syllabi established by the Division faculty and administered by the associate dean/director.
- Teaching assignments may be on one or more of the college's campuses or off-site locations and may include evening, weekend, and Dual Credit courses.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with college policies, procedures, and core values.
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in discipline/qualifying field.
- Current license to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or a Registered Nurse in Texas.
- Teaching experience is desired.
- This position is security-sensitive; candidates will be subject to a criminal background check. If selected for a dual credit course(s), an additional fingerprint-based background check with the TX DPS will be required by the assigned ISD.
Physical demands
- Sedentary work: exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, negligible force frequently.
- Involves sitting most of the time; occasional walking and standing.
- Typically includes talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking, repetitive motions, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.
- Relatively free from unpleasant environmental conditions or hazards; office environment.
Pay
Per Adjunct Faculty and CE Instructor Rates.
Employment type: Part-time.
