Adjunct faculty play a key role in the Executive Master's Program in Change Leadership (XMA), connecting theory with real-world practice to prepare mid- to senior-level executives for leadership roles focused on organizational change.
Responsibilities
- Teach a graduate-level course in the Summer and/or Fall semester.
- Develop a course syllabus aligned with Teachers College guidelines and program expectations.
- Design and deliver course lectures and learning activities to meet learning outcomes.
- Offer regular appointments to support students outside of scheduled class time.
- Collaborate with program faculty and staff to support student learning and success.
Requirements
- Doctorate in industrial or organizational psychology or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Expertise in at least one of the following: Talent management, Coaching, Executive coaching, Data or people analytics in organizational contexts, Organizational psychology, or Organizational change management.
- Excellent teamwork and strong interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified coach (for candidates specializing in executive coaching).
- Prior university teaching experience.
Pay
$4,250–$8,500 per course.
