Adjunct Professor

Adjunct faculty member for the new online MPH (Master of Public Health) program. Courses include biostatistics, epidemiology, and foundations of public health.

Responsibilities

• Manage the online (Blackboard) classroom
• Facilitate synchronous and asynchronous activities and discussions
• Develop and disseminate lectures to address course learning objectives
• Develop, evaluate, and grade assignments and assessments
• Provide timely feedback to students
• Respond to students promptly and positively support them in an inclusive environment

Requirements

• Minimum of MPH or MSPH required
• Experience in public health and previous teaching at the university level preferred

Schedule

• Position length: 4 months
• Credits per year: 3
• Employment status: Part-time

Physical Demands

• Online teaching: ability to sit for extended periods of time
