Responsibilities

• Treat patients according to the active plan of care provided by physicians and other healthcare professionals, ensuring optimal treatment outcomes.
• Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies with precision and compassion, always ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care meticulously, ensuring accurate and comprehensive patient records.
• Educate patients and their families on the disease process, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies, thereby fostering a deeper understanding and empowerment in managing their health effectively.

Requirements

• Current North Carolina Licensed Practical Nurse License
• Current BLS
• Attention to Detail
• Time Management Skills
• Effective Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution
• Good Organization
• Effective Communication
• Home Health Experience (preferred)
