LPN - School Nurse

About the role

The role involves providing one-on-one nursing care to students with medical needs in a school setting, including managing trach, vent, G-tube feedings, seizure monitoring, personal and diabetic care. The nurse may accompany the student on transportation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care tailored to each student's medical requirements
• Support transportation if needed

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN licensure in the practicing state
• Valid health certificate, PPD or chest X-ray, and BLS card
• Preferred: at least one year of LPN/LVN experience

Skills

• Strong clinical skills in pediatric and medical care
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans
• Compassionate communication with students, families, and school staff
