About the role
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support students in a school setting, including health room and district-wide roles.
Responsibilities
- Managing students with chronic diseases and disabilities
- Providing emergency crisis nursing care
- Conducting physical health assessments such as vision, hearing, dental, and nutritional screenings
- Offering health education, counsel students, parents, and staff on health-related issues
- Maintaining comprehensive health documentation to ensure compliance with policies and regulations
Qualifications
- Current LPN/LVN licensure
- Valid health certificate
- PPD or chest X-ray
- BLS certification
- Prior experience is preferred
Skills
- Strong assessment abilities
- Knowledge of communicable disease prevention
