Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure resident’s healthcare needs are met.
- Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity and ensure quality care as resident’s healthcare needs change.
- Ensure consistent quality resident care and service delivery throughout all shifts; this may require assuming the role and responsibilities of a Caregiver or Med Tech/Aide to meet residents’ needs and staffing requirements.
- Supervise community-based licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMAs, and Caregivers; provide training and education to Caregivers on an ongoing basis, including classroom in-services and situation-specific training.
- Manage associates' schedules.
- Oversee and manage the continuity and consistency of medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision and/or administration in the community.
- Conduct periodic Care Associate medication skills inventory checks and periodic medication audits per Brookdale Guidelines.
- Share on-call duties as required.
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of nursing experience.
- Management/supervisory experience in overseeing a clinical care team.
- Experience in senior living preferred.
- Experience providing training and education to caregivers/nurses, including classroom in-services and situation-specific training.
- Experience participating in on-call duties.
- Experience managing associates' schedules.
- Ability to effectively listen and communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Self-directed, able to prioritize tasks, and accept directives.
- Team player with industry knowledge and the ability to connect with families.
- RN or LPN license in the state of Ohio.

Pay
Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience.
