LPN - Regional Float Pool - Part Time - Night

Role: The Regional Float Pool LPN provides individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple facilities, utilizing theoretical knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care according to nursing standards. Responsibilities: Floats between designated hospitals, working in diverse units such as Med/Surg, ICU, Emergency, and more. Builds clinical assessment and communication skills, collaborates with various teams, and adapts to dynamic environments. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program and current LPN licensure in the state. Requires recent bedside experience—one year for Med/Surg, two years for specialties like ED or ICU. Certifications include BLS; ACLS and PALS for critical care and ED, IV certification, and relevant state requirements. Skills: Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift (up to 50 pounds), and perform patient care tasks. Flexibility, strong communication, and clinical assessment skills are essential.
