LPN - Regional Float Pool - Part Time - Night

About the role

The Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) provides individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients, utilizing current clinical concepts to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs in accordance with nursing standards. This role involves floating across multiple community hospital facilities within a designated region, offering flexibility and diverse clinical experiences. The position is part-time, primarily during night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Build strong assessment and communication skills
• Work with diverse teams across various units
• Adapt to units including Med/Surg, ICU, Emergency, Telemetry, Oncology, and more

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Current LPN license in the state of practice
• Minimum of one year recent bedside LPN experience for Med/Surg; two years for specialized units
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, PALS, IV certification depending on specialty
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform patient care tasks
