About the role
The Regional Float Pool LPN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple facilities in the region.
Responsibilities
- Float between designated hospitals, providing care across diverse units such as Med/Surg, ICU, Emergency, Oncology, and more.
- Build clinical assessment and communication skills while working with varied patient populations and teams.
- Maintain current licensure and certifications, including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and IV certification, depending on the specialty.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program with an active LPN license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of one year recent bedside LPN experience for Med/Surg; two years for specialized units.
- Preferred experience with Epic electronic health records.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and assist with patient movement.
