LPN - Regional Float Pool - Full Time - Nights - Mercy Lincoln and Surrounding Communities

Position Details

The Regional Resource LPN will float between the designated Community Mercy Hospital facilities.

About the role

The Licensed Practice Nurse, utilizing theoretical concepts as a basis for decisions in practice, will assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice for adult/geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess individualized nursing care for adult/geriatric patients
• Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care based on theoretical concepts
• Utilize standards of nursing practice in patient care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Licensure: Current LPN license within the hiring state
• One year of recent bed-side LPN experience to work Med Surg. For all other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.) a minimum of two years of recent bed-side LPN experience.
• BLS certification for Med Surg (MS), ACLS for Critical Care (CC), and PALS for Emergency Department (ED)
• IV certification required

Pay

No Contract Base Pay (Determined by Experience) PLUS Regional Float Pool Perk AND Shift Differentials: $2.75/Evenings, $3.75/Nights, $1.50/Weekends
